A new generation of storage. As paper is set free, space is opened up for people. Using Allsteel's mastery of bending metal, we created a collection of seamless outer shells that could be customized according to the belongings of the people using them. An undermount shell that rides adjustable desks with integral USB charging and cushioned smartphone bed is a highlight and major hit with this line. We also designed 5 injection molded work tools that were crucial to tricking out each shell. An inordinate amount of focus on shaping and dimensioning details of these work tools even lent them to be used in more and more products by Allsteel every year.
